On the lower slopes of the Apennine Mountains, surrounded by 60 hectares of fields and woods, with far-reaching views of the rolling mountains, the property offers seclusion and privacy. There is a private 15-metre pool, hard tennis court and basketball court. Within the wider area, there are many historic villages and towns to visit, including Michelangelo’s birthplace.
There are five large bedrooms, ranging from 30 to 50 square metres in floor space. All beds are made up of bespoke linen from Busatti, weavers in Tuscany since 1842. Three of the bedrooms are en suite and there is a fourth bathroom with bath and shower. The bathrooms are luxurious and modern. The dining area seats 12, with large bifold doors opening onto the terrace; the living room is light and airy with a magnificent original fireplace. There is a bright modern kitchen and large windows to maximise the views. Touches of emerald green marble have been used throughout to tie in with the verdant surroundings.
From the first-floor terrace (with an awning to provide shade) to the two different pergolas, one planted up with white jasmine and the other with grape vines. Lawns are spacious and planted mature with fig trees, vines, shrubs and potted evergreens. In addition to the pool, tennis and basketball courts, a running track and sunken trampoline provide ample activities for active guests. Further outdoor activities abound - hiking in the surrounding countryside and nature parks, horse riding and birdwatching among them.
