This French country idyll, set in the hills between Grasse and Nice, is child friendly and fantastic for families and large adult groups alike. Sleeping up to 16, the large detached villa has been built on the site of an old Roman dwelling and occupies a position commanding views of 60 miles of coastline.

The villas lies half hour (22 km) from Nice airport and a short drive up into the hills of Grasse, famous for its perfumeries, which turn locally grown flora into perfumes that are sold all over the world.

But spectacular sea views are not all that is offered. Peace is a given here in the hills, but when the house and garden have done their job and given you back your energy, you may wish to get out and about to discover the local area which is full of the sort of villages that each have their own market (for which details can be provided) and local produce sold from artisan shops as well as all the usual amenities of supermarkets and grocery stores. The charming local town of Le Rouret is 1.4km away and so are the local supermarkets.

The large swimming pool, with its comfortable sun loungers, and views of the sea form the pretty backdrop to the pool house with its shaded dining terrace. This can be used for easy lunches by day or elegant dinners at night. For dining, guests are spoiled for choice - eating at the pool house, the dining terrace or the kitchen are all options to vary the scene. The pool is set within large gardens which are laid out with the traditional cypresses trees so associated with this area, and really make the occupants feel that they are living in the unspoiled, authentic French landscape. For further authenticity, guests can even challenge each other to a game of boules in the garden and the most energetic guests can wear off the wonderful local food on the multi-gym and exercise in the home gym.

This family friendly villa has a large playroom with 4 bunks allowing the children to have a designated sleep area to themselves. It must be pointed out that the pool has a safety cover which when closed, can support the weight of a small child. Each of the further 6 double bedrooms is individually and stylishly decorated and all have a fully ensuite bathroom with bedroom 6 sharing the bathroom with the playroom.
