The multi-level white house is screened by greenery but also has superb views across to Kioni harbour and village, and the islands of Lefkada and Meganissi. The villa comes with a high-powered rib and equipment for waterskiing and snorkelling, as well as kayaks, wakeboards, paddle boards and a kneeboard. There’s a private pontoon directly below the villa and a path leading to a small beach. Kioni village is a short, pleasant walk away or 2 minutes in the rib.
The owner is an interior designer, and she has put a lot of care into the styling. Four bedrooms are spread across different levels in the main house (two with independent entrances), and a further two in an independent guest house. The ground level houses the kitchen and opens to a terrace with a breakfast table for 10, and access to a large internal courtyard. Steps lead down to the main living room area with dining for 12 and a further large balcony with cushioned banquette-style seating.
A pergola shades a sizeable lounging and dining area with a long table for 12. This opens out to the pool terrace, with cushioned wooden sun loungers around the infinity pool. At night the lights from Kioni twinkle across the water creating an enchanting backdrop for an evening meal. The property has two members of staff who live nearby and provide a great service. One is a water sports instructor and drives the rib so will take you out to the best locations for the various sports or drop you at a waterside taverna.
