This sea-view property is ideal for families as it is within walking distance to both the beach and the pretty village of Kioni; this villa rental also comes with your own private RIB and a professional skipper.

The mythical Greek island of Ithaca is loved for its rugged beauty and relaxed charm. Fly to neighbouring Kefalonia and hop on the ferry or a private sea taxi to arrive at Odysseus’ homeland. The villa is situated in a wonderfully private spot, surrounded by a verdant landscape, on the edge of Kioni bay. From here, you can watch the sailboats drifting across the crystal-clear sea. At the end of the garden is a path leading to a beautiful small beach, just two minutes’ away, or you can take a 15-minute stroll into the fishing village of Kioni. This picturesque harbour has several seafront tavernas and cafes. To explore the rest of this magical island, jump in your private 7.4m RIB and your skipper will show you the sights, including the spectacular Gidaki beach.

Entering Villa Kioni, the cool, contemporary design is instantly relaxing. Clean, white lines are complimented by splashes of bold, Mediterranean colour in the artwork and sumptuous furnishings. The bedrooms and social spaces are arranged over four levels. There are two double bedrooms with en suites and independent entrances; there is one double and a double/twin bedroom which share an interconnecting bathroom, and a further double which shares a bathroom with a single room (with a pull-out bed for one or two children).

The property boasts fabulous outdoor spaces including a pretty courtyard, a shaded dining and lounge area and a spacious sea-view veranda. There is a garden with a table-tennis table and a private infinity pool lined with sun loungers and daybeds.

Villa Kioni includes all the water sports equipment you and your guests could desire: as well as the RIB, you’ll find water skis and wakeboards, a kayak and a paddleboard. There are two full-time staff on hand during your stay, including a water sports instructor, plus a maid, gardening and pool cleaning service. The property is cleaned daily and linen is changed twice weekly. Additional services are available on request, including yacht charter.

This private luxury villa is the perfect place to combine a relaxing break with fun and adventure. All the family can enjoy exploring the island on your private RIB, before returning to the sanctuary of your secluded residence for an al fresco meal as the sun sets over the Ionian Sea.
