Located in the southwestern part of Kefalonia, near the picturesque village of Poriarata, the villa sits on the edge of an enchanting olive-tree estate. Guests can take a stroll to the nearby beach and mini market or travel further afield by car and explore more of the pristine coastline, tavernas and bustling towns. The villa also benefits from being only 8km from the airport, which has direct flights from a number of European cities.

Elegantly rustic and beautifully furnished, The Old Olive Mill can accommodate 8-10 guests. A spacious living/dining area and a well-equipped kitchen allow for inside entertaining and there is access to satellite TV, internet connection and sound systems should you need it. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms are split between floors, allowing guests greater privacy, and two of the bedrooms feature their own balcony. Outside, the lush Mediterranean garden and panoramic vista invite guests to totally unwind. A large bougainvillea-framed terrace takes centre stage alongside a Tuscan-style swimming pool lined with sun loungers. Dining alfresco is also on the menu thanks to a shaded BBQ area — all guests need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the sublime views.

The hosts, who since 2005 have restored the estate to its former glory, provide the ultimate concierge service. With their in-depth knowledge of Kefalonia, they offer a guide to all the local hotspots, restaurants and secluded beaches. A daily maid and talented chef are also on hand to make your holiday run smoothly. The chef prepares breakfast, snacks and one main meal per day (6 days a week) plus a wide range of dishes to cater for everyone. There is also a children’s menu to satisfy mini taste buds.
