The property stands amidst a large estate surrounded by Mediterranean-style gardens, 7 hectares of lavender, over 500 ancient olive trees, wheat fields and wildflower meadows, all with paths for guests to enjoy them fully. There are several comfortable living rooms, one with a vaulted ceiling and a huge working fireplace, and an atmospheric Trajan dining room that can seat up to 20. The bedrooms are elegantly furnished, and two interconnecting rooms are located in the self-contained pool house. All are ensuite, some with in-room roll-top bathtubs, some with large sunken baths, and one with a private entrance to the house's Masseria's hammam.
The rooftop terrace has large daybeds and a dipping pool, which is suitable for adults only. The 16m curved multi-depth pool, within the main garden, is child-friendly with a shallow area. Terraced gardens include a walled citrus grove, well-placed benches to sit and relax, a kitchen garden, a children's playground and a tennis court. Within the grounds, a classic Airstream caravan can be rented for extra guests, it is a 10 minute walk away, with its own private driveway and entrance.
Just 6 km inland from the Adriatic, the estate’s elevated position gives way to panoramic views, stretching north to Polignano and south past Monopoli, Ostuni, and Cisternino. Both Bari and Brindisi airports are within an hour’s drive, and Bari can accommodate private flights, making arrival convenient. The area’s attractions are easily reached, from the beaches of Monopoli, just 10 minutes away, to the ancient caves of Castellana Grotte, 20 minutes from the property. The region’s historic hilltop villages, including Alberobello’s iconic trulli and the vineyards of Canale di Pirro, are all within an hour’s drive, offering guests an immersive experience of Southern Italy’s rich landscape and culture.
