Avlaki beach, featuring two tavernas, is about a 15-minute walk away. Additionally, a tennis court is within a short walking distance in the village of Michelangelo. Driving into the hills to visit the ancient, abandoned Venetian village of Old Perithia is highly recommended, as it offers some of the best traditional food on the island. For more cultural experiences, consider a trip to Corfu Old Town, which can be reached by a captained rib in 30 minutes.
