It has been transformed into a wonderfully chic and comfortable villa with delightful gardens and far-reaching countryside views. The estate has its own restaurant, specialising in local delicacies, and the renowned Antognolla golf course is minutes away. There’s so much to see under an hour’s drive—historic towns, artworks, and Lake Trasimeno, to name a few.
The converted church houses a comfortable living room and one of the en suite king bedrooms. A corridor connects to the light-filled farmhouse kitchen, with French doors to the outside terrace, a second living room, and a large dining room with original terracotta floors and rugged stone walls. Three further en suite bedrooms are on the first floor, one of which can be converted into a twin. All the rooms have great views.
There are various terraces for sitting or dining. Near the kitchen, there's a breakfast table with a large parasol facing the living room. Further, there's a terracotta tiled terrace with sofas, a dining table, and a wooden decked area that extends out over the valley. It's the perfect place to take in the views or enjoy an aperitif. There's an infinity pool with a nearby wooden hot tub, sun beds, and parasols on the decking facing the distant rolling hills.
Perugia’s medieval charm is just a short drive away, with Assisi, Siena, and Gubbio—all under an hour—offering hilltop views and historic wonders. Nearby, enjoy the estate’s own Il Caldero restaurant, the village of Pierantonio for essentials, or the prestigious golf course. Culinary delights abound, from black truffles to Montefalco Sagrantino wine, with Rome and Florence for unforgettable day trips within two hours.
