This rural holiday home, full of genuine character and charm, offers guests a tranquil setting with excellent amenities.

The Bastide is a beautifully restored 18th-century farmhouse set on 3 acres of private land. Surrounded by natural farmland, cherry trees, and olive trees, this rural villa provides a peaceful retreat for families and groups. The picturesque village of Goult is just a 10-minute walk away.

INTERIOR

Original features, such as beams and exposed stonework, have been retained where possible, and furniture and furnishings are kept classic and timeless.

The spacious L-shaped living room, with an original stone open fireplace, has French doors opening to both the south and west-facing aspects. There's a large, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of space to gather, and bedrooms across both floors and one in the converted pigeonnier across the courtyard.

This beautifully restored farmhouse is perfectly located for exploring Provence.

Goult is a short walk. It's a lovely traditional village with several good restaurants, a bakery, a butcher, a general store, and a preserved windmill looking out over the Luberon countryside. The village also has public tennis courts and regular markets. Several villages, such as Menerbes, Roussillon, and Bonnieux, are within easy driving distance. About 20 minutes away is LIsle-sur-la-Sorgu, the island city known for its myriad of antique dealers, art galleries and flea markets. Coustellet, although not a pretty place, is known for its excellent farmers market, which is held on Sunday mornings. You could also take the Rhone wine trail, about an hour's drive away. The house is easy to get to since it's only 30 minutes from Avignon airport, 45 minutes from Avignon TGV station and only 60 minutes from Marseilles Airport.
