It's one of the best-preserved valleys in Morocco and a green oasis between bustling Marrakech and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. Marrakech is just a 20-minute drive away; the mountains' foothills are reached in about 45 minutes.
Large living and dining rooms both open onto terraces overlooking the gardens. The library has a TV, movie streaming, and a sound system. In addition to the spacious bedrooms in the main house, there are two in the pavilion—great for teenagers or guests who want separate space.
Opening from the house, a long, arched verandah shades wicker sofas and chairs and an al fresco dining area. On the roof terrace, Moroccan-style seating beneath a pergola offers views of the Atlas Mountains. A large swimming pool and lounging area sit amidst the lawns.
Hire a guide to enjoy trekking through stunning scenery and visit traditional Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains. There's a course just a short drive from the villa for golfers. You could also take a day trip to the seaside towns of Essaouira or Oualidia, both abouthours'ours' drive away. Oualidia is the oyster capital of Morocco, while Essaouira has a historic working fishing port and a marvellous souk within the walls of the 18th-century medina.
