Villa Comi stands facing out to sea in the southeastern part of the beautiful green island of Kefalonia, 27 km from the capital Argostoli.

A long veranda on the upper floor overlooks the verdant garden with big green lawns and cypress & olive trees, which surround a large al fresco terrace and pool. If you cast your eyes beyond, the expansive sea views are mesmerising.

INTERIOR

The villa is split over three storeys, featuring four bedrooms across two floors, including one with its own open-plan kitchen and living area.

A separate spacious living room, with a large stone fireplace, opens onto the balconied veranda. The villa cleverly combines Ionian architectural design with Venetian & Tuscan influences evident in the interiors. The furniture throughout is classic and elegant.

Kephalonia is known for its azure waters and abundant beaches.

There are plenty to explore including Antisamos, where some of Captain Corelli was filmed. Its a white pebbly beach-backed hills and theres a taverna and sun loungers and umbrellas for hire. South of Argostoli Platis Gialos has a watersports centre, golden sands and places to get food and drinks. The island has several caves to visit the most well-known being Melissani, close to Sami. You enter by an underground path and then tour the cave by boat. Drogarati Cave, also near Sami, has remarkable stalactites and stalagmites and an area with wonderful acoustics sometimes used for concerts.
