The Old Olive Mill villa is set in a peaceful countryside with its lush green garden and surrounding olive groves.

Located in the southwest of Kefalonia, it's close to the picturesque village of Poriarata and the sandy beach of Trapezaki. The capital, Argostolii, is close enough by car to enjoy the many restaurants, shops and maybe take a boat trip. There is a bakery within walking distance from the villa.

INTERIOR

Elegantly and beautifully furnished, The Old Olive Mill can accommodate 8-10 guests.

A spacious living/dining area and a well-equipped kitchen allow for inside entertaining. The five bedrooms and five bathrooms are split between floors, allowing guests greater privacy, and two of the bedrooms feature their own balcony. A daily maid and talented chef are also on hand to make your holiday run smoothly. The chef prepares breakfast, snacks, and a wide range of dishes to cater for everyone. There is also a children's menu to satisfy mini taste buds.

The house opens onto a large bougainvillea-framed terrace with lots of comfortable wicker furniture, a shaded al fresco dining and barbecue area, and views out across the countryside. Steps lead down to an inviting Tuscan-style swimming pool, set amongst the lawns and surrounded by sun loungers, parasols and a shaded hammock for those lazy days. For those looking to explore, the villa's own skippered motor boat is available for day trips, such as a cruise around Ithaca island.

Situated at the edge of a charming village, the villa is just a short distance from the sandy Trapezaki Beach, which also boasts a delightful beachfront restaurant. More secluded beaches are located further along the coast, perfect for quieter days by the sea. Both the airport and the island's capital, Argostoli, are a mere 15-minute drive away, offering convenience without compromising the villa's peaceful setting. A bakery, local taverna, and mini-market are within walking distance, while a larger supermarket can be reached in 10 minutes by car. While the villa is well-situated for everyday necessities, renting a car is highly recommended to fully experience the wonders of Kefalonia, one of Greece's most captivating islands.
