Its particularly photogenic infinity pool gives the illusion of the sea extending up to your own ‘private beach’. The villa has white-washed Cycladean exteriors and walls of exposed local stone and is surrounded by 10,000 sqm of private land. Contemporary and well-appointed, the many amenities include a helipad, massage room, steam bath, private chef, and wine cellar. Both Spathi beach and Lefka, the capital, are within a short driving distance.
Four bedrooms are on the ground floor, including the master bedroom and two bedrooms connected by stairs between the ground and mezzanine levels. A fifth bedroom is in an annexe with a separate entrance. This floor also has a fully equipped kitchen and open plan living/dining room with sofas at one end and a long wooden dining table for 12 at the other. The lower floor has a gym, steam room, massage room, sizeable wine cellar and media room with Playstation and DJ equipment.
Around the ‘beach’ edge of the pool are bean bag loungers, outdoor day beds and a little beach bar. Within the grounds, there’s a private tennis court. An organic garden provides fresh herbs and vegetables for the private chef to use.
For those into watersports, a trip to Koundouros beach is recommended. The island is also known for its extensive network of hiking trails, perfect for exploring the rugged landscape and discovering ancient cities like Ioulis and Karthaia. Don’t miss the sunset at Vourkari’s old port. Thanks to Kea’s proximity to Attica, it’s easily accessible via daily ferry connections from the mainland.
