The villa is a short walk from the famous White House, now an excellent restaurant and once home to Gerald Durrell. Boat mooring and two beaches are just a few minutes' walk away, and the celebrated tavernas on Agni beach are all accessible via a coastal path.
The light-filled top floor is dedicated to an open-plan living and dining space and an ultra-modern fitted kitchen. High, wooden beamed ceilings and large doors open to the covered veranda with a dining table for 12, BBQ and outdoor lounge. On the middle floor, the master bedroom features a freestanding bath, direct pool access, a covered balcony, and two further ensuite bedrooms. The ground floor houses a further bedroom with its own outside area and an executive (or family) suite. This suite has a large bedroom, a lounge with two sofa beds, an ensuite with double showers and access to a large outdoor sitting area. There’s also a well-equipped gym and kitchenette on this floor.
To one side a pergola shades built-in sofas, a fridge bar and shower, whilst the terrace provides plenty of space for sunbathing on the loungers. On this level there’s also a breakfast table for 12. A sizeable games area and table tennis are situated at ground level.
The village of Kalami has a good selection of shops, tavernas and bars, a pebble beach and boat hire. Kalami has the only ski school and water sports school in the area. At Agni Bay, just south of Kalami, the waterfront tavernas are well known for their seafood. You can walk here or arrive by boat. The beach is pebbly, and the waters crystal clear, so it's excellent for snorkelling. From the villa, you can also take a short and easy walk along a coastal footpath to Gialiskari beach, which is fantastic for swimming and now has a beach bar. For a wider choice of restaurants and amenities, drive to Kassiopi or St Stephano, or take a water taxi to Corfu town, which has its historic Old Town, castle, museums, and a wealth of eateries and interesting shops.
