Built on the hillside, it benefits from far-reaching views across the Ionian Sea and over to Corfu Town; at night, the twinkling lights in the distance are particularly attractive. Gouvia bay has a wealth of facilities, including restaurants, cafes, watersports, and boat hire.
Wall-to-wall glass doors provide great views from the open-plan living space and lead out onto the wonderfully sunny wooden decked terrace. Within the room, there are big sofas in the lounge area at one end and a dining table for 8 at the other. There’s also a very well-equipped modern kitchen with god-quality appliances. Across the two floors are four air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms, all with sea views and one with a Jacuzzi bath.
The surrounding clear balustrade means you can swim right up to the horizon and take in a bird’s eye view of the sea. Alongside the smart sun deck are luxurious sun beds, umbrellas and side tables. There’s also a long verandah with comfortable sofas providing plenty of seating, a separate shaded dining area, an outdoor pool shower and a Jacuzzi at one end. It’s all perfectly set up to relax, unwind and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
It’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach. You can walk to Gouvia Marina, which has numerous boats berthed there, as well as restaurants, bars, restaurants, and shops. Corfu Town is only a 25-minute drive. You can explore the charming UNESCO-registered old town with Venetian architecture, narrow streets, and a wealth of shops and restaurants. The modern part of the town has many boutique fashion stores, jewellers and upmarket restaurants.
